I had previously registered a domain name and let it expire. The renewal period has passed and now the name was acquired by someone else. The next expiration date is February 2009. I can't wait that long to reacquire it but I don't want to pay the exorbitant fee they want. Does anyone know of a way to reacquire the name for me?
During the period where I owned this domain, I haven't yet used it or had it up as a website. As far as I know it's still a blank site. But directing traffic to it will only drive up their price, I assume, so I haven't tried to visit the site much.
This request for bid involves the complete acquisition of this domain and its transfer of ownership to me immediately.
