I need a small yet reliable Python script that stays connected to the live Nifty feed and reacts instantly to two situations I define: • Alert me when the set up is coming I’ll only place a buy order whenever the price dips below a threshold I will pass in a simple config file or environment variable. • Send me an alert (email, Telegram, or a quick console log is fine at first) whenever the price swings beyond a percentage that I’ll also set. The solution must pull real-time data from an Indian-market–friendly source such as Kite Connect, Upstox, or any other API you are comfortable with—as long as it covers Nifty ticks with sub-second latency. I’m happy to supply the API key and access tokens. Core requirements – Clean, well-commented Python 3 code. – A small config section so I can change the buy level, the notification threshold, and my credentials without touching the core logic. – Graceful error handling so the script can reconnect after a network hiccup. – A brief README that shows how to install dependencies (pip, virtualenv, Docker—use whichever keeps it lightweight) and how to run a quick demo in paper-trade mode. Acceptance test I will run the script during market hours, lower the threshold deliberately, and expect to see one mock buy order plus the notification when I tweak the price band. If both trigger correctly and the program stays alive for at least one trading session, the job is done. Optional extras I would welcome but are not mandatory: logging to a SQLite or CSV file, the ability to extend the same logic to other indices, and a simple CLI flag that switches between live and paper modes. If this sounds clear, let’s get started—I’m ready to provide API access and exact thresholds right away.
