I’m a portrait artist interested in developing my artistic style and promote my private portrait commissions practice in Vancouver, BC. I’m doing a documentary film and oil paintings style development series in my solo exhibition at the end of my two year project. I have already written my entire application include rationale, experience capacity, budget, timeline and resume for artistic creations project funding. I am looking for professional feedback and strategy for my application as this will be my first time seriously applying for arts grants.

@EightVeer

Hi there, We can help by reviewing your grant application as a strategic advisory exercise, focusing on the strength of your artistic rationale, the fit between your portrait practice and the proposed two-year exhibition project, and the clarity of your budget and timeline. We will also assess whether the supporting materials present a coherent case for first-time arts grant review. Our initial assumption is that you want targeted feedback and prioritised improvements rather than a full rewrite. The platform bid covers an initial phase focused on evidence review, diagnostic and prioritised recommendations; wider implementation would be separately scoped on Freelancer. Best Regards, 8veer

@Humansmade

Greetings, I’d love to help strengthen your arts grant application and give you a clear strategic perspective before you submit it. Since you already have the full application prepared, I can focus on reviewing how effectively the proposal communicates your artistic development, portrait practice, documentary film, oil painting series, two-year project, and planned solo exhibition. I’ll assess the application for clarity, artistic significance, feasibility, consistency between the rationale, timeline and budget, and how convincingly your experience supports the proposed work. I can also identify areas where an assessor may need more context and suggest focused improvements while keeping your own artistic voice intact. Send me a message
