Must be able to devote 2 to 3 hours daily -- 5 days a week to: Scouring Google News and blogs for related stories. Combing the blogosphere -- Technocrati, Icerocket etc for blogs related and entering their feeds. More specifics to the winning bidder as to acceptable stories and subjects. Just know that the job will generally be those activties for about 3 hours a day. Also note that 1 really fast working hour probably won't work. You need to understand the basics of blogging and how to post from other sources with attribution etc. Posting news in a Slashdot fashion with links and brief summaries along with images where appropriate. Working on some minor documentation a little everyday. Making sure the update and tag aggregations sites like [login to view URL], technotcrati, and ping-o-matic are receiving regular updates. Site is made from Drupal so familiarity with Drupal is must. Other website related duties. Understand that this job really will require 2 to three hours every day and not 12 hours once a week. That last part is important so please be sure you understand it. It is a news site and will need daily attention. Communication is key too but you know that. It will of course require daily communication and email reports as well as some IM conversations.
