Would you be interested in writing 50 articles about Quebec? Most of them would be united by the topic: If Quebec were independent, what would be on its citizenship test?
I actually need five types of articles: 1) 10 "argumentative", discussion-inducing articles as to "what should and what shouldn't be on such a test", "what matters and what doesn't matter", "would it be a good idea to even have such a test", "would it be a good idea to have such a test even without independence - after all, the immigration to Quebec is running autonomously, so why not citizenship applications", "how can a test measure somebody's integration", etc. As provocative as possible, as their efficiency will be measured by the amount of comments they will trigger on Facebook;
2) 30 articles about the actual topics suggested for this imaginary test (by yourself). Topics can be anything from history, geography, to important Quebec personalities, artists, scientists, politicians, writers, ... but also institutions, economy, even gastronomy; quebecismes; etc.
(Style considerations: the first type is for "anybody"; the second type is meant to be read by immigrants becoming Canadian in Quebec, so it should be easy to read, although not overly simplistic as to appear humiliating. Textbook style.)
3) 5 articles on "what it means to be a good citizen", (recycling, voting, volunteering, bla bla bla) and how it can be done in Quebec (also, targeted at an "imaginary immigrant who wants to be a good citizen but doesn't know how"). It could be something about Greenpeace or any other "cause", or about the idea of donations being tax-deductible; another very welcome idea is "How to figure out which Party you should be voting".
4) 5 articles about "ethnic communities in Quebec" - Arab, Russian, Chinese, perhaps Brazilian or Mexican... ? whatever there is.
Timeframe: ideally, by New Year's, so two months... How much will this cost?
If you find any of this "too tricky", would you consider writing just one type of the articles? For example the 30 "important quebec things", as it's basically re-writing Wikipedia.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
