I've read your requirements and am writing this in reference to your posting. I have also perused those the zip file. I have worked in the media since 1998 back in India.
I have the traditional newsroom experience and educational qualification that suggests me for this job. My love for interviewing and researching is what drove me to graduate with double majors in Sociology (Honors) and Anthropology. Following that, I completed my Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Mumbai in 2003. During my career span, I set up and headed the Features department for the television division of The Times Group, India’s largest media conglomerate, among other companies. While there, even though I had a team I could delegate designing powerpoint presentations and writing literature for our digital space, I preferred doing them myself. Following that I was also a Business Manager for a division of a production company. I have a strong background commissioning content and preparing written and visual content to daily deadlines. I am highly investigative and curious, always looking to find the most unique or pertinent angle to making a story engaging. I have an innovative yet concise writing style and can put together a piece with no errors.
I am very enthusiastic to use my social metrics background. I currently write for the local newspaper, Tribune, in Texas, as a correspondent. I acknowledge you mentioned that you can't pay more than $26 but I can give you quality. Thank you.
