The Article will flow as following 1- A brief introduction on the current situation of peace between Arab countries and Israel. This intro will conclude that the current situation is not sustainable peace, and not what was intended with the peace treaty, highlight the non active articles in the treaty, as Egypt and Israel did not reach civil cooperation as neighboring countries a. the peace is often described as a "cold peace" b. skeptical about its effectiveness 2- Reasons (obstacles) why the current situation developed a. Reasons on Israel side (Palestinians’ rights, minorities right, Syrian land…etc…political game and how is benefit from the situation) i. The Arab-Israeli conflict has kept relations cool ii. Respect of human rights b. Reasons on Egypt side (Authoritarian regime using enemies to mobilize and control population, underdeveloped political and civil movement to support change for peace, security restrictions in building relations) i. Still the conflict is an internal political mobilization tool in Egyptian politics for example “ Ayman Nour, an influential Egyptian opposition figure and likely presidential candidate called for Cairo's peace treaty with Israel to be "reassessed". On 15 September 2011, the then Egyptian prime minister Essam Sharaf said that "A peace deal with Israel was not sacred".Rashad al-Bayumi, the deputy chief of Egypt's largest party, the Muslim Brotherhood, said that they would not recognize Israel and that the treaty could be put to a referendum, emphasizing that while they respected all of their international agreements, they "had the right to review the peace deal" and that the Egyptian people "have yet to speak their mind". Representatives of the group had told U.S. diplomats that they did not intend to revoke the treaty.[25]” c.
