USING MSACCESS AS DATABASE
This project is to turn certain parts of a static website into dynamic database driven (msaccess)
pages, the succesfull bidder wiill acomplish this by adding to my current basic CMS (currently
just does upload/delete/amend files , newsletters and user adminstration).
the website address of the project is [url removed, login to view]
ZIP FILE CONTAINING IMAGES WHICH GIVE A VISUAL DESCRIPTION OF WHAT I WANT ARE TOO BIG TO
UPLOAD HERE ([url removed, login to view]) SO I HAVE UPLOADED THEM TO [url removed, login to view]
PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE VIEWED THE IMAGES AS THEY ARE IMPORTANT FOR THE DESCRIPTION
OF THE PROJECT (and you will not be able to bid realistically without them) PLEASE INDICATE
IN YOUR BID OR PM THAT YOU HAVE VIEWED THE IMAGES
On the cms side of it the programmer will create a
1) add/edit/delete page adminstration section - the add/edit pages would include a online
html editor that allows the pulling in of images from the imagebank(see below)
plus hyperlinking, font colours and image alignment (see image uploaded to view an image
of a working one I created in php and mysql).
newly created pages will be able to choose from a set of layout templates so that not all
pages look the same (see different layouts in normal viewing from [url removed, login to view])
2) Navigation adminstration section (add a new menu item, delete a menu item ONLY if the
assocaited page has been deleted first, edit menu item)
3) image bank that resizes the images depending on usage assigned to it (for example on the
image upload page there would be a drop down box with the values content, header, left image
right image - if the drop down box value was content then the image would be resized to a 150
width , height kept in ration - if the drop down box value was header then the resize would
be 98 height, width kept in ratio.
depending on the use of the image chosen it shall be tagged as such so that it can be
filtered in the add/amend/delete page to the correct areas.
ON THE VIEWERS SIDE OF THINGS
all pages linked from in the left hand side menu and page content are to be dynamically
created (all dynamic elements will be marked on the image file uploaded)
