An upcoming consumer web site, which is designed for IE 7.0, needs to be ported to support multiple browsers, including IE 6.X, FireFox, and Opera. Basically the site needs to be cross-browser.
Although the Web pages are developed in [url removed, login to view], only the HTML, and possibly the Java script, will need to be modified to display on the above browsers as well as on IE 7.0. There is no need for any back-end integration and software development - just modify the HTML statements in the [url removed, login to view] pages. Since the Web pages are developed in [url removed, login to view], ideally we prefer a web programmer with strong [url removed, login to view] background to do the job for us.
For testing purpose, the programmer needs to access our database remotely, therefore having a reliable high-speed Internet connection is key to the success of this project. In addition, the programmer needs to check in and check out files using our source code control system daily.
About 40 pages need to be verified and ported. The process works like this:
1) You test the pages on any of the above browsers
2) If you see the display less than perfect (compared to IE 7.0), you fix the HTML code
3) Test the pages again to verify your changes
Again, no backend development or codeing - just HTML porting.
Minimum 3 years [url removed, login to view] programminer experience
Proven experience of developing cross-browser Web pages
Highly experienced with HTML and client-side Java script
High scores from previous buyers
The project starts immediately. Expected delivery time: 5 days.
