ASP.Net E-commerce Site Implementation using Mediachase ECF

An advanced web developer is required to develop a B2B e-commerce site using ASP.Net (C#). This will be based on the Mediachase e-commerce framework (ECF). We have the full source code for this framework, which will provide most of the product browsing, shopping cart and ordering functionality. If you are not familiar with this framework, an introduction and documentation is available at: [login to view URL] The project will require the following: - Customising look and feel of site by creating templates in line with site design (sample HTML files and assets will be supplied) - Setting up categorised product catalogue, including setting up different product types and templates - Setting up of delivery and payment gateways - Multi-lingual implementation (2 languages) using ECF’s built in localisation functionality In addition, the ECF source code will need to be extended to include support for a number of B2B-specific features. This will involve extending the database structure and amending the data access and business layer code. The following extensions will be required: - New customer account approval of (new accounts will only become active following approval by site administrator) - Customer account management (assigning of customer accounts to specific account types) - Customer credit management (recording and allowing administrators to amend the customer’s credit status) - Multiple price management (pricing of individual product units according to customer account type) - Additional stock management functions - Min / Max quantity per product per order 5 years+ web development (inc. 2 years’ asp.net) and an understanding of n-tier application architecture are required. You should have at least one medium- to large-scale e-commerce site in your portfolio. Applicants must be located within the North West of England, as they will need to work 2-3 days per week on-site at our office in Kendal, Cumbria. Any applications from overseas will be ignored.
