I have an existing website that mostly works. Built in ASP, it is a public website that interacts with a SQL database and includes a private "management page" to upload documents, images and edit elements in the database.
The site works fine except for one annoying bug. If a user includes an apostrophe (') in a variable that is uploaded to SQL the page crashes.
I know that this can be fixed but I know that I don't know how to fix it.
What I'd like someone to do is to provide the fix to the website.
The pages involved are [url removed, login to view], Editmenu.aspx.
Also, there is a minor error in these pages where the user must select a group before clicking save but the page is not checking to ensure a group is selected. The group is called different things on different subsections of the pages, it could be a Department, County, Category. Please update the two pages wher these terms are used to check for a selection and prompt the user to select a Department, County, Category.
And finally on the EditSubmenu.aspx. there is a data entry section of a few input boxes and a few controls. This floats vertically on the page and is problematic. I'd like the controls to always stay at the top of the page.
I'm attaching all the .NET code so we can be sure you have all you need. Please let me know if you have questions.
If you cannot bid with what is posted please let me know. I'm interested in getting this done quickly.
