SUMMARY: Purpose of this project is to make changes to the existing system and add more functionality to it CURRENT SYSTEM: This is a online (web based) system used by employees of one company (internal system). System is used to open job cards that make orders of certain items from the head office warehouse and track job progress. System is written using ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) and uses MS SQL 2008 Database. System is hosted on our own server and we have full access to the code and database. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE: 1) some functionality is not needed anymore and needs to be hidden or removed 2) some improvements and modifications need to be made 3) additional part needs to be built to simulate a “store??, a very simplified shop - user will browse various products and adds them to a basket - unlimited number of each product can be added to the basket (no stock count is kept) - when user is finished with adding of products to the basket, he proceeds to checkout but no payment is made (internal system) - order is simply sent to the system administrator (head office) in a form of an excel spreadsheet - also, a job is created with this order attached (ties into existing functionality) 4) products area to be built where administrator would load products and product categories onto the system DELIVERABLES: Fully workable, bug free ASP.NET Code, installed on our server ACCESS TO CURRENT SYSTEM: Only a live system exists that client is currently using and we cannot provide login details for these I am busy creating a test site and I will provide access to it on individual basis ATTACHED: Specification documents (read '[url removed, login to view]' first and then '[url removed, login to view]'). WILL BE SUPPLIED: Existing code (C#, ASP.NET 2.0) Existing MS SQL 2008 Database Fully working test system on our server FTP details for the test site where modified code needs to be uploaded and working
