Active X control to obtain local filestructure without uploading to server

Summary From a .net 20 web form, obtain a file/folder structure (including sub folders) of selected files using a windows select files dialogue screen and display in a datagrid WITHOUT uploading the files to the server. The editable Datagrid should contain the following columns: Filename: String len1000chars Word count: textbox (integer, max Len. 8) Action: dropdown list (Single value select with values called from an xml file. User will edit the form and then click a button to add each row in the dg to a sql 2000 database. Acceptable methods: Probably will have to be an active x controls or browser add on (open to suggestions) Target user environment: Intranet running only Internet explorer 7 running on XP or Vista
