Need a website designed in ASP. Listed below are the basics on how the website needs to function. Additional files are also included.
Step 1. a purchaser will come online, either register or login, and then list the items they need vendors to bid on.
Step 2. The purchaser also fills out a page where they can select the (unlimited) vendors that they perfer to bid on their items. The purchaser will list the vendors contact company name, contact person and also the contact email addresses, this in return will send an email to the vendor letting them know that a purchaser has items that they would like the vendor to submit a bid for. The purchaser will have a place within their account where they can store vendor names/emails for future items.
Step 3. The vendors can then click a link within the email that is generated after the purchaser fills the information out that will allow them to signup/login and bid on the items that the particular Purchaser has submitted, or they can reject bidding on the items.
Step 4. Vendors must be invited to bid on items. No search will be available for vendors or purchasers to search through. No one but the purchaser that submits the items for bid and the vendors that are requested to bid are allowed to see the bidding process for that item.
Step 5. The vendors that have been requested to bid on items by purchasers can change their bids at anytime before bidding ends. The lowest bid for items will be show until the last 5 minutes of bidding. The low bid will be shown, but the low bidders name will not be shown.
Step 6. I would also like an email reminder sent to requested vendors that the item bidding will end within the next 8 hours. This can just be an asp page that I can make run automatically using server settings.
Step 7. I would also like an email sent to the purchaser after the item bidding ends that will let the purchaser know the low bid and the final price. The purchaser doesn't have to go with the lowest bidding vendor, so the purchaser will have to select which bid they would like to accept.
Step 8. After the purchaser selects a final vendor, all vendors will be notified of who the accepted vendor is and the accepted price. The accepted vendor will also be notified with an email letting him know he was select, the items needed, and the final price. The purchaser will also receive another email letting them know who they selected, the items needed, and the price.
