I am a manager of a small IT department. This is my first time trying freelance.com.
What I need to do is have a simple website where a client can log in and view their text reports. I have done it myself where the user can view the directory tree and pick a file to display.
What I want that is different is that I want a table of report descriptions to control what the user picks from. Instead of having "Report1.txt"
on the screen, the user will see
"[url removed, login to view] A summary of data from other reports"
I see the directory structure looking like this:
A client will log in. Based on the login, they will go to their client folder
They will get a dropdown box of all the dates folders. When they pick a date folder, they will be presented with the files below, with the descriptions. When they pick the file it will display on their screen. (my version opens .doc in word,etc)
It would be nice if the program could get the reports out of a .zip file in the folder.
I need it all finished next week.
