We are launching some online podcasts and need someone who is competant in a audio editing software to edit several pieces including music, intros, interviews and other pieces like mini-adverts into one podcast. Our desire is to provide source files and a brief of what order everything should go in. For interviews and any other talking you will have to carefully edit our unconfortable pauses in the interview, 'erm's' and any waffling or repeating, and then you trim the interview down to the specified minutes for that section. You will need to understand good english and use sensibility not to cut outimportant parts of the interviews etc. This will be a regular job as we will do more podcasts if we have someone good who can edit them and upload them to our server for quality control. Once we are happy, we would then want you to upload it to our webpage (wordpress website).
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
We should end up with a 25-31minute podcast that sounds professional and is a good representation of our product we want to promote and the people we want to interview. It should be at a good quality and in several output options for low bandwidth, mobile and cable/DSL listeners. DO NOT quote on this job unless you can commit the time to edit and produce at least 12 podcasts that will be delivered over time. You should be looking for a long term relationship. You will also need to pull together a short 2 minute promotional for each podcast to let people hear what is happening in the next podcast... like a trailer/preview.
