Sperling Hansen Associates (SHA), located in North Vancouver, BC, is an environmental engineering consulting firm that specializes in landfill design and other solid waste related work. Since the company was formed in 1995, it has consistently produced creative and high-quality designs for its municipal and regional clients. SHA work encompasses a broad range of disciplines including civil, geotechnical, environmental and chemical engineering. SHA is looking for an experienced Draft Person with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for a part-time position. Kindly submit your resume as a PDF file together with 3 example PDF's of typical drawings that you have personally created that illustrate your capacity in the above-referenced work will be useful. Requirements: - Proof of drafting education - Minimum 3 years practical work experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - Good knowledge of computers and various software, including MS Office - Fluent in English, oral and written - Familiarity/experience in Civil engineering an asset. - Working from existing documentation, able to prepare basic field surveys such as setting site boundaries and elevations. - Able to work on multiple tasks concurrently and to effectively handle changing priorities - Works well individually and in a team environment Duties: Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
