I’m upgrading a commercial facility and need a dual-skilled professional who can cover both ends of the job: • As an HVAC planning engineer, you’ll produce a complete design and layout that meets local codes and emphasises energy efficiency. That means accurate load calculations, duct and piping routes, equipment selection, and a brief narrative describing how the system hits our efficiency targets. AutoCAD or Revit for drawings and HAP, Trace 700, or similar for the calculations are fine as long as all figures are transparent and can be verified. • Wearing your Quantity Surveyor hat, I’ll rely on you for a precise material take-off drawn directly from your own drawings. I need a clear, itemised bill of quantities (ductwork, fittings, pipe, insulation, devices, ancillary steel, etc.) formatted so it can be dropped straight into procurement. Deliverables will be: 1. PDF and editable CAD/Revit HVAC plans with calculation sheets. 2. A concise energy-efficiency report (COP/EER targets, expected kWh/m², and any rebate-qualifying measures). 3. Excel or CSV material take-off, fully cross-referenced to the drawings.
