I am excited to submit my proposal for the design of your 3-point torsion-free subframe system for the MAN TGM 13.290 4x4 chassis. As a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in structural design, CAD development, and fabrication-ready documentation, I can deliver a practical and robust solution that accommodates chassis flex while providing secure support for the camper body. My approach begins with reviewing the chassis specifications, camper dimensions, payload requirements, and intended operating conditions. Based on these inputs, I will develop a manufacturable 3-point mounting system designed to minimize stress transfer between the truck chassis and camper structure while maintaining durability in off-road environments. Deliverables will include a complete 3D CAD model, fabrication-ready 2D drawings with dimensions, material specifications, assembly details, mounting point definitions, and files in STEP, DXF, DWG, and PDF formats. If required, I can also perform FEA to evaluate critical components under chassis twist and loading conditions. Kind regards,

Hi, I reviewed your MAN truck RV subframe project and understand this requires more than standard CAD modeling because the subframe must properly manage chassis flex, load distribution, mounting geometry, and offroad structural behavior while supporting an optional living habitat safely and reliably. I can help develop a functional and manufacturable subframe solution with accurate structural layout, mounting integration, weight balance consideration, and habitat compatibility while ensuring the design remains practical for long term expedition and overland use.

I am excited to submit my proposal for the Custom RV Subframe Design project for your MAN truck platform. With extensive experience in mechanical design, vehicle structures, CAD modeling, and chassis integration, I can develop a durable and efficient subframe solution tailored to the unique demands of RV body mounting. My focus will be on ensuring structural integrity, load distribution, torsional flexibility, and long-term reliability while maintaining compatibility with the MAN chassis specifications. For this project, I will create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and fabrication-ready documentation for the subframe assembly. The design will account for vehicle dynamics, off-road and on-road operating conditions, body-to-chassis movement, mounting point optimization, and weight management. Where required, I can also perform structural assessments and design validation to ensure the subframe meets performance and safety requirements while supporting the RV habitation module effectively. I am committed to delivering a practical, manufacturable, and high-quality design that aligns with your project objectives and timeline. Throughout the process, I will maintain clear communication, provide regular progress updates, and incorporate feedback to ensure the final design meets your expectations. I look forward to collaborating with you and creating a robust subframe solution that supports the success of your custom RV build.

Your requirement for a torsion-free subframe on a MAN TGM 4x4 chassis immediately brings to mind similar projects involving heavy-duty expedition vehicles where managing chassis articulation is paramount. I've successfully engineered mounting solutions for similar off-road platforms that isolate payloads from extreme torsional forces, ensuring structural integrity and occupant comfort. My approach will involve detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) within SolidWorks to simulate various loading conditions and chassis flex scenarios. I'll utilize a combination of parametric modeling for iterative design refinement and advanced surfacing techniques for complex geometries. The deliverable will include fully dimensioned 3D CAD models and manufacturing-ready 2D drawings, specifying material grades, weld types, and tolerances to facilitate local fabrication. Given the emphasis on accommodating chassis flex, have you identified specific articulation limits or expected twist angles for the MAN TGM 4x4 chassis under load? Understanding these parameters will allow for a more precise and optimized subframe design. I'm available to discuss this further at your convenience.

Hi how are you doing well? I can develop the complete 3-point torsion-free subframe design for your MAN TGM 13.290 4x4 expedition RV build, including the concept, 3D CAD model, fabrication drawings, mounting details, isolator/hinge layout, and manufacturing-ready files. I lead a strong mechanical design and structural CAD team with solid experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, off-road vehicle structures, expedition truck subframes, welded/bolted assemblies, chassis flex isolation, material selection, and fabrication documentation. My approach will focus on a practical system that allows chassis twist while keeping the camper box safely supported. First, I will review the MAN chassis data, camper box dimensions, payload, mounting restrictions, local fabrication capability, material preferences, and interface with the flat camper base. Then I will design the 3-point mounting frame, define pivot/isolator locations, model all components in CAD, and prepare 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, cut lists, weld/bolt notes, exploded views, and assembly guidance. If required, I can also run an FEA check under chassis twist and provide advice for attaching the subframe to a StyroMAX or similar composite floor. I can provide a fixed-price or hourly estimate after reviewing the files and would be glad to support the living habitat design after the subframe package.
