We are a local family business who provide planning and building control drawings for local clients, due to our workload we are looking to outsource some of our CAD work. We will provide a survey sketch for each project and send this along with site photographs and any other important details. This initial project is a small one but we are looking to build a long term relationship as we have lots of projects.
Project details as follows:
We have carried out a site survey of an existing dwelling and require it drawing up and sending to us as a .dwg file. The software used can be Autocad or Nanocad as long as the final file is a .dwg.
So that you have an idea of the detail we require we enclose a sample of our other work. We are happy to discuss our survey drawing and explain how we carryout our surveys, in future we can make the survey plan clearer!
The sketches contain abbreviations these are as follows:
1.) WH - Window height from sill to top of window.
2.) SH - Window sill height from finished floor level.
3.) Measurements in circles indicate the floor to ceiling height.
4.) DPC - Damp Course to Eaves and Ridge are stated.
5.) The doors widths stated include the door frames (nominally doors can be drawn 100mm less, thus leaving a 50mm wide door frame each side).
6.) External walls on this project should be drawn as 300mm thick and internal walls 100mm thick.
The final drawing needs to show a complete floor plan and elevations, the enclosed photographs show the elevations, note that the rear elevation does not have any windows or doors. All dimensions shown are in millimetres.
