Sheet Metal Pump Housing Conversion

I have a fully modelled pump in Autodesk Inventor and now need the housing re-engineered as a sheet-metal component. The goal is simple: make the part easier to manufacture while still matching the original geometry and mounting locations. Only the housing requires attention; the impeller and seal stay untouched. The new design must be based on a thick-gauge sheet 0.375 inch and built entirely inside Inventor’s Sheet Metal environment so that flat-patterns generate correctly for laser cutting or CNC punching. Deliverables • Inventor (IPT) sheet-metal model of the housing • Associated flat-pattern (DWG or DXF) ready for fabrication • Short note on any bend reliefs, corner treatments, or feature changes introduced during conversion I will provide the existing 3D assembly once we start.
