This is the same pattern as booking bots and form fillers I've built before: watch for input, drive a desktop app through its UI, extract the output. The ECU software is just the target. For the MVP I'd use Python with pyautogui for the UI automation and watchdog for folder monitoring. The flow: - Watchdog detects new ECU file in the input folder - Script reads filename or a sidecar config to determine the service (DTC OFF, EGR OFF, etc.) - Opens the tuning software, loads the file - Navigates to the correct modification, applies it - Saves/exports the modified file to the output folder - Logs the result, moves on to the next file Error handling: if the software crashes or a step fails, the file gets moved to a failed folder with a log entry so nothing gets lost silently. I'd need a trial copy or access to the tuning software (Davinci or StageX) to map the UI elements and button positions. Once I can see the interface, the automation comes together quickly.
