I need a 3D animator to clean up motion capture animations for a video game. We have the mocap, just needs to be cleaned. Key Requirements: - Experience with both hand-made and motion capture animations - Ability to refine and polish motion capture data - Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender) - Attention to detail and a strong understanding of character movement Ideal Skills: - Background in video game animation (sports games are a huge plus) - Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work - Effective communication skills - Ability to meet deadlines Specifically, we are looking to cover: -A new suite of player reactions. (celebrations, disappointment, fun) -Facial animation passes. -Shot animations for 12 upcoming characters. 1 pre-shot, 3-4 variations either blended in or separate shots (no facial animation needed), 1 approach and release shot If the timing and pricing align, we are also interested in potentially auditing and fixing animations (mocap cleaning or handmade) for an additional 30+ characters already in the game.
