I have a small stone dwelling in North Devon and I am building a 2 storey extension. GF extension of 28m2, 1st fl 12m2. I am looking for a structural engineer to provide the structural design and calculations for: Substructure - Foundations or GF slab / GF slab Superstructure - Timber framed walls / floor Existing stone wall - 7m steel support Architectural drawings of the existing building are available and will be provided. The principal structural works requiring design are: The intention is to obtain a practical structural solution suitable for construction, together with the necessary drawings, details, specifications and structural calculations for Building Regulations purposes. The existing architectural survey drawing is available and shows the current floor plans and elevations. I am looking for a UK-based or UK-experienced structural engineer familiar with Building Regulations, timber-frame construction and alterations to traditional stone buildings. Please provide details of relevant experience, anticipated deliverables, timescale and confirm a fixed-price quotation will follow
