I’m preparing my M-Tech thesis and need two full structural models developed—one flat slab without drop panels and one with drop panels—using the latest versions of ETABS and SAFE. The priority is razor-sharp accuracy in the analytical output, so every assumption, load case and material definition must be traceable and defensible. Scope • Build both models from scratch, assigning realistic gravity and lateral load combinations. • Carry the slabs into SAFE for slab-specific checks and punching verification. • Run a pushover analysis and extract the capacity curve, performance point and any related demand–capacity metrics I will need for my results chapter. Deliverables 1. ETABS and SAFE native files for the two variants. 2. A concise Excel or CSV extraction of the pushover results plus any supporting tables you generate (story drifts, hinge formation, etc.). 3. A brief memo (PDF or Word) explaining modelling choices, convergence checks and how the output demonstrates the accuracy required for academic publication. Please keep the workflow transparent, use clear naming conventions inside the models and flag any code clauses or assumptions you rely on so I can cite them directly.
