Existing Access program that needs repair and update. The program is currently being used to dispatch drivers to different locations in Park City Utah. Written in Access 2003. Using Access 2007. The .mdb is located on a network drive with access through a .mdw user rights shortcut on two computers. The administrator has full rights and the original design was for the data entry level users to take overflow calls with limited editable controls.

1. Check for corruptible .mdb. (Cannot copy .mdb to separate computer without having 'Could not open table "MSysAccounts" in the workgroup information file'. Repair. 2. Remove annoying refresh feature. This delays entering info when busy. If the refresh can occur automatically without delays that would be OK. There is a manual Refresh button. Problems occur when each user (up to five users at a time when busy) is entering data simultaneously and the Refresh button is selected. Multiple blank lines appear on the Data Entry page. [url removed, login to view] full access for multiple users. Remove data entry lower level access. Full rights for all users. Please create five admin user names and passwords. With instructions on how to Add/Edit them. Advise as to the problems of two users entering data into a shared database and ways to allow this to happen without crashes. 5. Improve speed. There are delays in data entry and the refreshing feature. 6. System slows down when .mdb table reaches into the thousands. Is there a way to create monthly .mdb data tables? If you can improve speed without doing that great. (Provide steps for creating new .mdb table by month or quarter). 5. In the Custom Report there is a column called PP. In the original program this was for "Passport" passengers. This is no longer in use, but Custom Report doesn't work without PP being checked in the Data Entry page. Remove PP column and the "Total PP" from the report, as well as "Total $ Amount", Total $ Runs" and Total PP Passengers". All this Custom Report needs to show is "Total Runs", "Total Passengers", "Ave Call Pickup Time" and "Ave Drop Off Time".
