We are providing a video conferencing service based on Flash Media Server ('FMS'). On each sessions, users use webcams and whiteboard to communicate each other.
While we offer an option to record the session including the indstructor (or moderator) video, chat box and the whiteboard activities, we use FMS to playback recorded video conference.
Here's our requirements
1. Although we use FMS to record the attendees videos, whiteboard,
and chat box, we want to put them into a FLV files
2. Thus, to play back the file, I want to use simple Flash player
(like YouTube) without FMS
3. So, it must support the progressive downloading and seeking
(meaning that videos and whiteboard activities must be synced)
The whole system can be an engine; getting recorded sessions using FMS (with three parts: videos, chat box, and whiteboard), and output
a single FLV file.
* The video/whiteboard/chat box quality must be maintained on final FLV file for the viewers who want to blow up the file full screen size.
*** Please take a notice that the budget change.
*** Our administration staff made a mistake on the
Max. budget for the project is US$ 2,000
*** One more information left out.
*** We are kind of hurry so that the project
*** must be done in less than 5~6 weeks
<<Please take note of this technical detail >>
If you go to http://palbee.blogspot.com, I embed one of our recorded video conference. Please take a look at the player. It actually has two different streaming (video and whiteboard)
Currently we sync them togehter to see as one object. But we need to make both into a FLV file.
