I'm looking for a 'networked script editor' type of program (I'll explain below) that is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista.
The point of the program is to have two or more users working on a text document at the same time- just a bit more complicated. The program should provide basic script editor functionality, such as undo/redo, find and replace, and so forth.. the developer can be creative.
The users should be able to connect to a head user by providing an IP and a password that the head user specifies on his copy of the program (head user program could be seperate). As many people as possible should be able to connect and edit the text document.
I also need basic syntax highlighting. The program should read a list of words (I'll add the list later myself, not part of the project) from an INI file, and highlight them a color specified in the same INI file.
A treeview is also necessary that will display all the files in a folder specified by the end user (only files of type ".rcscript" and ".txt". It will open those files into another tab- there will be a tab interface that allows as many text/rcscript files open as possible. These should also be able to be operated on by connected users.
The source will also be needed.
That is all, feel free to ask for more information OR for a budget increase. Please note that I'm on a strict budget anyways, and the lower the bid the greater amount of attention it will receive.
I'm a prompt responder and I look forward to anyone willing to take on this project. Thanks.
