In plain English I require the following installation programme:
1. Opens iTunes (if not already open)
2. Connects to iTunes store
3. Asks end user to make a selection of up to 6 variables
4. Commands iTunes to start downloading a whole series of Podcasts (800 for each of the six varibles)
5. When this operation has then been executed and whilst the podacasts are downloading the application then needs to do the following:
5A: Acess the iPod as a hard drive
5B: Locate the Notes Fodler in the main directory
5C: Count how many files are already in the Notes folder and alert the end user if they need to delete some to make space (iPod can only handle 1000 pages of notes)
5D: Place new folder into the Notes folder
6: Tell end user not to disconnect iPod until it has finished downloading podcasts etc
At this stage I am after confirmation this cane be done and a rough quote for the work. I know that everything can be done apart from the automating of several downloads of podcasts.
You may have an alernative suggestion although which we are open to hear although please be advised that the solution must ensure that Podcasts are downloaded via iTunes. This is a big must.
There are some easy display pages the installer must show and accepting T's & C's also.
