Task is to provide a shell script such that a windows executable can be generated by executing this shell script under debian . The required packages to be installed must be from trustworthy and well maintained sources (such as the debian repository itself). Apart from installing necessary libs, the cross-compile must work without root.
There is an old version of a cross-compile howto  but I don't get that translated to new libs and scons.
Globulation 2 uses scons to build. It is open source so feel free to check for details there.
Point of this project is to integrate windows binary generation in a hudson continous integration system for nightly builds. Subsequent projects will include cross-compiling to mac, 64bit, other linux plattforms ...
