I need a modification of two pieces of code, as a matter of urgency.
We are a small ISP wanting to provide support to our customers via IRC.
We are running the GNUWorld service, as found on the major IRC network. The code we need needs an indepth knowledge of the working of GNUWorld, C, and C++. Code must be to a very high standard, and work faultlessly under high demand. Please do not contact me if you are not an experienced programmer, or do not understand the type of code required.
The source of the command I need changed is:
[url removed, login to view];view=markup
* When a new hello is issued, check the email address is not already used. One username per email address.
* Make the IPList save in the database, currently, if the service crashses or is restarted - the list is lost allowing abuse of the command.
* Instead of noticing the user their new password straight away, we need it to use sendmail to send the password to their email address. Standard lines can be used in the code, as we will modify that to our style.
* General code tidy up - needs to work faultlessly!
New command for the same service above, named 'REQUESTPASSWORD'
Its syntax on IRC would be /msg X requestpass email@address
Obviously as only one email will be in the database, it will know the account name of that person, and email them a reminder of their password. This is also useful if the original email from hello does not arrive, so they can find out their password.
Should the above be possible and to a high standard, I have two other similar jobs in the same price range!
I look forward to your responses
Required time: MUST BE COMPLETED BY 3RD JULY AT LATEST
You must be able to fully test the code on your end to ensure it works / compiles properly

Adding the mailing feature should be doable in a couple of days. General tidy up and testing of the existing code and functionality should take some testing cycles (perhaps one week).
