The software to be created will be headed up under the name of
“E-Certpro”.
The aim of the software is to enable users to insert an
appropriate or personalised logo, and to create an easy way of
completing appropriate certificates for use within the electrical
industry. This will be for myself and or other users on a small
scale, but not for use within large industries/companies.
I want the software to be as easy to use as possible with a simple
1-2-3 approach so as not to complicate things for myself/others
during use.
On opening the software I want the following style of menu to
be displayed as the home screen:
Across the top of the home screen and all subsequent screens I
want the title “E-Certpro” displayed in a similar format, along
with an appropriate electrical image/symbol/picture.
The 3 options available on the left hand menu will be in the
following order:
CREATE LOGO
ADD OWN/CREATED LOGO TO FORM
FORM COMPLETION (not “complete forms” as shown in
the following picture)
Once the user clicks on “CREATE LOGO” I want a heading to
appear on the right at the top of the page entitled “Choose
Template”. I also want 20 pre designed logos to appear
underneath the heading so the user can choose a suitable design
that they can use to create their own logo as in the following
picture:
The user will need to be able to insert their name/business name
into the chosen logo .
The logos will be left to your own designs and need to be
professional looking, non complicated and generally simple.
Each logo can use the business name E-Certpro as an example
of the text that will appear in the desired logo. More emphasis
on the word designs in the logo rather than on pictures is
required. Some examples follow:
Once any logo template has been double clicked on, the user
needs to be able to insert their own name/business name into
that design (thus replacing the E-Certpro text in the logo) to see
how this would look.
Once the user has decided which logo is required they will need
to be able to save this logo that they have created. This will then
appear under the next title in the left hand menu (as an icon)
“ADD OWN/CREATED LOGO TO FORM”
I need an option to be able to repeat this procedure up to 5 times
thus saving 5 different logos.
Once the user clicks on the left hand menu “ADD
OWN/CREATED LOGO TO FORM” I want a heading to
appear on the right at the top of the page entitled “Click on
desired logo to add to forms” The above mentioned (up to 5)
created logos will now appear as icons under this heading. I also
want the first logo icon to be pre programmed for all and to read
“Add own logo to forms”.
When the user clicks on this “add own logo” icon, the option to
add their own logo from a list of files on their computer will
appear (all common formats supported jpeg/gif etc) and they
will be able to import their logo from the file into the software.
This logo will then be added to all the electrical forms in the
program which will appear in the next menu heading
“COMPLETE FORMS”
Similarly, the other (up to 5) icons from previously created
logos as above, need to have the option to click on and add that
logo to all the electrical forms in the program.
Once the user clicks on the left hand menu “COMPLETE
FORMS”, I want a heading to appear on the right at the top of
the page entitled “Choose Form”.
All electrical forms/certificates will appear under this heading as
separate icons with the user's chosen logo inserted on each
individual certificate. Each different icon will be titled with the
appropriate certificate name.
The certificates will be provided in pdf format once a bidder has
been chosen.
All certificates will need to be able to be edited in all the
required fields in a self contained word style editor which will
open up when the required certificate is double clicked on.
Once the required information has been inputted on the
form/certificate, the user will need to be able to print and save
(or just save) the form onto their computer to a file of their
choice.
An indication of the approximate location of the logos to appear
on the certificates/forms are as follows:
When the user has saved more than one logo/name for example
E-Certpro and E-Certpro ltd, I need the option to choose the
correct logo when clicking on each certificate. To clarify, there
will only ever be 13 certificates/forms under this heading,
however when multiple logos have been saved the user must be
given the option on choosing the certificate which business
name he wishes to use.
The software needs to be able to be put onto a disk by myself
each time i need to. The software will auto run when the disk is
inserted into the drive and before the software can be installed a
general legal disclaimer/notice must be agreed with. If the user
does not agree with the terms and conditions then the software
will not be able to be installed.
The completed software, code and name of the software will be
transferred to me upon completion of the project in order that I
own full rights to the software.
All bidders on this project need to have working online
examples of this type of work that I can view to give me an idea
of how we can work together on this project.
The project will need to be completed within 1 month of the
programmer being selected, with frequent contact and
discussions during this period with updates.
