Need someone with pointcloud software experience...I need to
translate x,y,and z co-ordinates into mesh file/stl files.. I start
from a pointcloud text files that has x,y and z data...From this file
I need to build a mesh file and then an STL or 3dm file structure...
There are some open source packages that do this type of
conversion...I have included a mesh zip file...Take a look at it...
How do we go from pointcloud to mesh to stl...The stl is a 3-d
format mesh data file.. Please review all your 3-D type
file structures... What happens when we go from pointcloud to
a mesh??????? What is happening there ??? and then from mesh
to a standard stl /3dm/3ds type file structures... I have the
3dm file and the stl...I need to know how we generate that file
from a pointcloud file....As you know the pointcloud file is created from
a laser 3-D scanner device. I am in the process of building
those pointcloud data files... Now I have to understand the mesh
and the next piece of the puzzle the stl file ???????? Have to raise
the bid because I am not getting the response that I need...
Here is the zip mesh file to review.
