I am looking for a slide show desktop application that will have a setting to "watch" a particular folder on the system. Photos will be saved to this folder from a seperate external program. As photo arrive in this folder the slide show application will add them to the slide show. It should give preference to the newest saved photo. This means that it should always try and grab the newest image to show. If ther eare no newer images then it should randomly show images from this folder.
I would like to have the slide show have some effects such as showing the images on a rotating cube, or having the images be slide into the screen as if they were tossed on to a desk. The images would stack randomly ontop of each other in this effect. Another effect could be a photo wrapped in a sphere. I am open to other ideas for effects. Maybe some transition effects too. These effects should be able to be turned on/off. The application should switch effects after a while and go to another effect that is turned on if there are multiple effects turned on.
There needs to be a settings screen to set the "watched" folder path. There also should be a way to run this in a full screen mode with no Windows border or title bar. Maybe a keystroke to toggle in and out of full screen mode.
