The job is to develop 3 Dlls for searching images (Covers) on the internet for Video or Audio. The services: Amazon, google, [login to view URL]
Currently we have an amazon webservices search class that we will provide to the developer. This class contains some simple functions like to call http/xml and to receive the XML result. Also it contains an xml parser and an interface to the CURL library to download the selected images.
The common workflow is:
1.) Build search amazon webservice string with submitted keyword(s).
2.) Submit string to amazon webservice api
3.) Receive XML search result
4.) Parse to small images in search result, download the small images to a string buffer vector
5.) Download selected big image (cover) from amazon
The job is how the search works with google and last.fm. Do they offer a similar API like amazon webservices that is basing on XML querys? Or do you have to develop an own workflow?
Bring the amazon class to a DLL and change the class to a common Plugin API so it can work with google, [login to view URL] and amazon search DLL created by you.
