1. Allow user to configure the company name, address,phone, fax, and logo
2. Should allow user to customize document HEADER and FOOTER
3. Define various departments
4. User to decide and define types of document .For example - (3 types of documents namely policy, procedure, instruction)
5. It should allow user to customize the document reference number.
6. Should allow user to define the reviewer and approval flow (Line of approval)
7. Allow users to decide on the nomenclature for document revision; either numeric Rev1, Rev2... OR Rev A, Rev B, ....
8. Define number and type of sections of the procedure. For example Introduction, Objective, Prerequisites, steps, references, definitions,... (no restriction on the number of sections, however once the template is finalized for any given type of the document (say for example policy) then all the similar documents will follow the same template. However application should allow user to revise this template, retaining all the previous records with the old format.
9. Each procedure step should also be configurable for an alternative step.
