My name's Thomas Di Fonzo and I'm a member of The Wall Street Journal video team.
I have had a freelancer drop out on me at the last minute and I am looking for someone to turn around 6 30/40 second clips within 2 weeks, with at least 1 draft ready this week so we can sign off on style etc.
The videos would be shown to a live audience and would introduce the individual winners of the China Innovation award's. [url removed, login to view]
We would provide photos, articles for clippings and some basic graphics to work with but all creativity would be down to you. Also the event will be in Mandarin and all video text would need to be in Madarin.
I was provided this link by my colleagues as some possible inspiration:

We do not require any voice over or scripted voices. It would just be short video montages using music, photos and whatever else is available and can be purchased within a budget.
We are offering $1000 USD for the 6 videos. And we also have some money to buy stock music and possibly more multimedia.
Is this something you are able to take on at such short notice?
