I process the wind data by means of an extension of ArcGis that draw the wind rose graph. You have to specify how tiow to compute the wind data: daily average, or mounth or annual, etc. I have more then 20 years of experience in GIS and Digital Mapping and Remote Sensing too as a CONSULTANT. I carried out several projects in Europe particularly in the field of Land Use or Vegetation mapping and Gis modelling applied to risk evaluation. Every projects I carried out included a statistical analysis, and one of my task was to display them by using printed map the results. I have a professional level using ARCGis, Qgis, ERDAS.
