My wife has a small cleaning company. I have been looking for a CRM program to help her to manager he clients and her jobs.
The things we want are mostly very basic. I see the PIECES of what she needs in lots of free templates. But I can't find everything together. I am somewhat technical but I am not at all expert and I don't have a ton of time.
I am looking for someone who might be able to use pieces that are out there and integrate existing templates and make modifications so it will work how we want.
I have written a detailed outline of how it needs to work but basically it needs to do these things:
1. Standard client database - there are Excel CRM spreadsheets out there that collect customer info etc. and one of these could be modified to add a few more fields for how big the house is, whether they have pets etc.
2. Job Schedule/Calendar - she needs to be able to schedule jobs as weekly or biweekly events... there are lots of calendars out there... but unlike most calendars we don't have times - we just want to list the jobs on a certain day. And in another column, we want to have the hours for that job and total them.
3. Other functions - If it were possible we want to see where the locations are on a map... I've also seen templates that allow you to send text messages or emails... I don't know how these do it but this could be a good thing - though not crucial. I want to keep the priorities on the core functions.
I would suggest this would work in two steps. Step 1 - investigate what templates are out there that we could use, and plan how to do the project. Step 2 - put it together. I'm guessing 8-10 hours for step 1 and 30 hours for step 2.
