We are developing a mechanical vacuum pump system intended for low-resource environments. The design uses laser-cut or CNC routed plywood parts. The design is partially complete in OnShape. One part studio is complete and that will be the focus of this job. There are about 32 pieces of plywood in the part studio. Your tasks will include: - Uniquely label each part. - Lay out the parts for either laser cutting or CNC routing. - Optimize the layout for minimal stock usage. Optimization does not need to be extreme but simply first order optimization. - Identify and make contact with shops in Bangalore to do either laser cutting or CNC routing. - Coordinate with me to select a shop. - Supply DXF files, or similar, to the chosen shop. - The parts must be labeled by laser or CNC and cut by laser or CNC. - Ensure that the job is clearly described and coordinated with the chosen shop. I am a foreign engineer from the USA working in Bangalore. You must be willing to communicate with me in English. WhatsApp will be our primary channel for communication.
