I am managing an expansion project within the National University of Singapore campus and need a licensed electrician to take full ownership of the new electrical scope. Your primary responsibilities will be two-fold: install all new wiring and related hardware for the additional spaces, then carry out a complete inspection of the finished system to certify that everything meets Singapore regulations and NUS internal standards. Because this is an expansion rather than a green-field build, you will be tying into existing switchboards, routing cabling through occupied areas, and coordinating day-to-day activities with our on-site general contractor so that schedules stay aligned and disruption is kept to a minimum. Clear, proactive communication is essential. Deliverables • Complete wiring installation for the new wings (conduit, trunking, terminations, panel connections) • Post-installation inspection report, including test results and compliance sign-off • As-built drawings or updated schematics reflecting any field changes • Daily updates to the main contractor’s site manager and immediate notification of any conflicts or safety concerns • Preparation of single-line diagrams and endorsement of circuitry drawings • Installation, commissioning, testing, and configuration of hoarding lightings and CCTV Additional Requirement: Can supervise a team of contract workers. Acceptance criteria All installations must pass statutory testing (insulation resistance, continuity, earth-fault loop) and obtain the required authority approvals on first submission. Documentation must be handed over in editable PDF and native CAD formats. Timeline: All work must be completed before students return to campus in August. If you are a EMA-licensed electrician familiar with campus environments and comfortable collaborating closely with general contractors, I look forward to your proposal and earliest availability.

As an electrical engineer, electronics expert, and experienced project manager, I am well-equipped to tackle the unique challenges that your NUS expansion project presents. My proficiency with not just the technical aspects of the job (e.g., wiring installations, inspections) but also project coordination and team management makes me a strong fit for this role. I understand the needs of a campus environment and know how to work closely with general contractors to maintain smooth operations throughout a project. Over my career, I have navigated numerous projects similar to yours within occupied spaces, ensuring minimal disruptions while adhering to regulations and quality standards. This aligns perfectly with your requirement to tie in new electrical infrastructure amidst an existing setup at NUS. Beyond simply executing the job at hand, I can offer additional value through preparation of single-line diagrams and endorsement of circuitry drawings, which streamlines long-term maintenance efforts. Lastly, my promise is not just completion on time but exceeding expectations in terms of quality and compliance. With every deliverable meeting statutory testing requirements and ready for authority approvals on first submission, you can be confident that your August timeline will not be compromised. By choosing me for this critical role in your expansion project, you are opting for proficiency, expertise and focused dedication for a successful outcome.

I understand you require a licensed electrician to manage the new electrical scope for the NUS expansion, including installing wiring and hardware, then performing a complete inspection to certify compliance with Singapore regulations and NUS internal standards. I have successfully completed similar campus infrastructure upgrades, including tying into existing switchboards and routing cabling through occupied areas while minimizing disruption. My approach will involve meticulous planning and execution. I will install all new wiring and hardware using industry-standard materials and techniques, ensuring all connections are secure and properly insulated. Post-installation, I will conduct a thorough inspection, utilizing a calibrated multimeter and insulation tester, to verify continuity, resistance, and voltage across the entire system. All documentation will be prepared to meet NUS's specific reporting requirements. What is the anticipated timeline for the electrical inspection and certification phase? Ready to start as soon as you confirm scope.

Hi, I am interested in supporting your NUS campus electrical expansion project. My background includes electrical system design, power distribution, industrial installations, CAD documentation, and project coordination for commercial and institutional facilities. I can support the project by: - Preparing and reviewing single-line diagrams and electrical schematics - Coordinating the installation of wiring, conduits, trunking, panel connections, lighting, and CCTV systems - Supervising installation teams and ensuring work complies with project specifications - Performing testing, commissioning, and preparing inspection documentation - Updating as-built drawings and providing complete handover documentation - Coordinating closely with the main contractor to minimize disruption and maintain project schedules I am experienced in producing manufacturing and construction documentation, commissioning reports, and ensuring installations comply with applicable electrical standards. My focus is on delivering safe, reliable, and well-documented systems. To better understand the project, I would appreciate clarification on: - The size and scope of the expansion (number of buildings/floors) - Existing switchboard capacities and protection schemes - The required CCTV and lighting systems - The expected site start date and completion milestones I look forward to discussing the project and contributing to a successful delivery. Best regards,
