Many of us have difficulty deciding where to start when improving our every day lives. Here are five things that you can do from Monday to Friday to change your habits:
1 Eat a Healthy Breakfast
A healthy breakfast does not have to be extravagant, but it should have one thing from each food group, such as a veggie, a fruit, a grain, a protein, and some source of calcium. Breakfast is important because it literally breaks the fast that you have been having all night, and brings a flow of good energy into you body.
2 Keep A Journal
A journal will help you organize your thoughts, feeling, and experiences. Consider filling it with little doodles, sketches, or stamps.
3 Make a New Friend
You probably meet people all the time. Whether you are at the bus stop, in a class at school, or at a gathering between colleagues at the workplace, introduce yourself and see what happens next.
4 Get a House Plant Pet
Get a cute little houseplant. Decorate the pot you keep it in and give it a name.
5 Hold a Garage Sale
A garage sale will clear out the old stuff holding you back, make some extra cash, and make room for new ways to fill your home.
