I’m putting together a collection of bite-sized fantasy tales for children and need a creative writer who can turn big imagination into small packages. Each story should span roughly one to two pages, keeping young readers engaged with vivid worlds, gentle suspense, and a satisfying wrap-up they can understand. Because the audience is kids, language must be simple yet sparkling, with age-appropriate themes, positive messages, and plenty of wonder—think friendly dragons, talking forests, or portals hidden in bedroom closets rather than dark or frightening material. I’m happy to suggest prompts, but I’m just as open to your own original ideas as long as they stay firmly in the fantasy realm. Please deliver each story in an editable document (Google Docs or Word). I’ll review for tone, clarity, and readability at a child’s level, then circle back with any tweaks before we consider the piece final.
