We require a controls engineer to design and supply a pre-wired electrical control panel for an automatic orbital stretch wrapper and powered roller conveyor. The machine is mechanically built. Motors, VFDs and pneumatic cylinders already exist. The freelancer must design the control system, supply the control panel, sensors, safety circuit, wiring diagrams, and clear installation instructions. The system must automatically detect a bundle, start the wrapper, perform slow initial wrap revolutions, increase wrapper speed, advance the conveyor while wrapping the full bundle length, stop at the far end, complete final wrap revolutions, operate the clamp/cutting arm at the correct point in the wrapper cycle, cut the film, then discharge the wrapped bundle and reset ready for the next bundle. Wrapper ring speed and conveyor speed must be adjustable by the operator. The system must include manual jog controls, auto mode, emergency stops, safety interlocks, clear fault indicators, and a documented sequence of operation.
