We are adding CAN OPEN communications to our current product. We purchased the Sima Software CAN OPEN stack hoping it would make our lives easier. Unfortunately, it has not.
We have the micro communicating over CAN in a basic fashion.
My firmware guy has never done CAN protocol before and is having an issue getting over the hurdle of figuring out how to get that first real CAN message across to our device.
We need someone who has CAN OPEN experience to either answer questions on a general basis, or possibly write some code adding to the sima soft stack.
If you think you can help, please answer this by explaining the difference between a PDO and an SDO.
