Virtual Assistant - Accounts Receivables/Payables

I am looking for an long-term virtual assistant and accounting representative to help oversee and manage tasks and some finances for my company, preferably off shore as there will be tasks working with individuals based in the USA, India and East Africa on a regular basis.

Im looking for someone who can get to know my work style and basically be a self-starting independent and professional person who can take as much off my plate as possible, being pro-active whenever possible so I can focus on building the business.

Here are the qualities im looking for.

- Organized

- Self-starter a must

- Well written and articulate in English

- Comfortable knowledge of word processing and Office formats

- Internet saavy and knowledgeable about the latest trends in in the internet industry

- Comfortable knowledge of internet browsing, email, etc.

- Responsible and dependable track record

- Good motivator

- Excellent communication skills and written grammer

- Land line phone to PLACE and RECEIVE calls during a 2-4 hour window within business hours EST. (I will of course be paying for these calls).

- Well experienced in maintaining confidential matters as confidential

- Good temperament to handle various types of situations on my behalf

- Well versed and experienced in both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and procedures

Here are some samples of the tasks that you will be doing on a day-to-day basis;

- Doing market, competitor, supplier and product research

- Helping to keep information flowing between my staff so things dont get 'stuck' waiting for me

- Sending, receiving and processing faxes for the company

- Filling out documentation on my behalf so I just need to sign

- Communicating with staff, suppliers, vendors and various other individuals on my behalf

- Sending me daily reports of completed works

- Developing and maintaining a budget for company expenses

- Managing money flow for payments to debts, bills as well as account receivables

Some additional details:

- This position will start immediately, within 2-3 days of this project being submitted

- Im looking for someone who will bill in 15 minute increments of actual work time for tasks

- Im looking for someone who has experience, so you MUST either have a proven track record here at GAF or you must provide CV + references (or preferably both)

- Bid your rate based on one month of work, assuming 10-20 hours per week. Hours may be more as time goes on. In a PM, provide your hourly rate as well.
