We are a growing development team behind blockbusters on Facebook and MySpace. Millions use our products. This is no coincidence because we are obsessed with our customers. Your role will be to provide customer support and community management for our applications across the facebook, myspace and iphone platforms. Since we have a variety of apps that reach over 25 million users, many issues, both technical and non-technical come up on a daily basis. You will be expected to help resolve all types of issues, including investigation of technical issues and working with our engineers to isolate and fix them. Additionally, you will help organize and motivate the community of users around our applications. This means you will post to our fan pages, help work out the company website and communicate with users to understand how to better serve. Ideally, you have experience or interest in internet applications and a reasonable knowledge and interest in computer technology. In this position, you will be exposed to many levels of the way the company operates, and will have a great opportunity to learn agile work methods and the intense iteration and innovation at a rapidly growing start up. Since the position is remote, you will be expected to be self-driven and highly reliable and communicative. The role will start out as a part time position with the option of moving to a full time position. This is perfect for students who are fluent in the facebook/myspace/iphone worlds. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
