Solar water distillation using efficient solar still

My project is writing a paper about "Analysis ans study of solar water distillation using efficient solar still", this paper

* studies and analyzes the performance of the solar still in GCC environment condition

* studies and analyzes the efficiency of solar distillers and various factors that affect the performance of the solar still

* Following factors shall be studied and analyzed

Sun's radiation,max/min with respect to time

Materials used to construct the still

Dimension and area of the still

Wind factor and its effects

Type of glass to be used, and ways to minimize reflection and absorption and allow maximum penetration of sun's radiation into the still

Effective use of base liner

effective use of side insulations

Aim of the project

1. Calculate the efficiency of the solar still and instantaneous as well as period of time

2. calculate the yield of the solar still

the following parameters will also be measured and analyzed, which are necessary to calculate the above 2 factors

* I(t)-solar radiation

* V-velocity of the wind

* Ta-temperature ambient (inside the still)

* Ts-Temperature sky

* Tw-Temperature water

* Tg-Temperature glass

* Pw & Pg -vapor pressure water/glass

* hcw-convective loss co-efficient

* hew-evaporative loss co-efficient

* mew-hourly yield

* Ni-efficiency

Following results will be graphed:

* ambient, water, glass temp. over a hourly period

* variation of saturated partial pressures of water at a certain water and glass temp.

* convective, evaporative co-efficient

* wind velocity effect on water temp.
