The successful candidate will develop marketing concepts and copy for websites and other advertising media such as email campaigns targeted at the lodging and hotel industry; update existing content; and provide general creative support. The candidate must be familiar with search engine friendly content writing.
English Major with at least 2 years of writing experience
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE / ABILITY:
Familiarity with the online space. Basic understanding of what constitutes successful interactive/online communication. Appreciation for the potential of advertising/marketing on the web. Passion for/personal experience with the online space. Basic knowledge of appropriate hardware (Mac and/or PC) and software (Microsoft Word, etc.). Excellent creative writing abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group.
