I'm developing an application for Windows and Mac using QtCreator. I need a videoplayer different to the Qt Multimediaplayer, because of the codec problem by unsing Windows WMF engine. For the new videoplayer the QtAV is a good solution, I think. I need someone who builds QtAV and develops some classes to make QtAV easy integrateable to my application. The mediapayer should have exactly the same structure like the Qt Multimedia. It should contain a VideoWidget and a Mediaplayer class. Both classes should have the same signals and slots like the QtMultimedia QMediaplayer and the QVideowidget classes. It should be possible to display the same video from a single mediaplayer to two different videowidgets (QtAV supports this). The classes should work on Windows and on MacOS and the framework QtAV should be updatable by newer sources.

Hello, I used QtAV in one project. Honestly there are some bugs related to the smoothness of the function seek. Project in development process and not very stable. I recommend you pay attention to "libvlc" for embed video player. Regards, Alexey.

My experience includes designing, implementation and debugging of various applications across full set of applications suite. Past 60 months I have been working on Linux Mobile platforms, Windows Mobile and iOS on Qt / QML/ C++. I have been Certified in Qt by Trolltech. I have a lot of experience with Qt framework. Even if I didn't do this before (implementing a layer upon QtAV), I think it is achievable, and would be a very useful layer.
